Overnight Oats- Favourite 3

Here are my 3 favourite ways of eating porridge which are simple and very quick recipes which can be made in minutes, the night before (Ideal for those early mornings). I use almond milk but any kind will do. Can be enjoyed for breakfast or dessert.

 

Banana Chocolate:

  • 40g oats
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 mashed banana
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder

 

Place oats in a small container or jar. Mash one banana with a fork or mix in blender with milk and cocoa powder and then add to the oats and mix. Leave in fridge overnight.

Berry Burst:

  • 40g oats
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • Handful of your favourite berries (fresh or frozen)

 

Place oats in a small container or jar. Mix fruit in a blender with the milk and then add to oats and mix. Leave in fridge overnight.wp-1487468698664.jpg

 

 

 

 

 

 

Apple Pie:

  • Half apple (peeled and grated)
  • 40g oats
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)

Place all ingredients in a small container or jar and mix well. Leave in fridge overnight.
